All Pee Wee Division players in the province are invited to attend an evaluation camp to be selected for the team. Players will practice and play with their local association team during the season and are only required to attend one of the evaluation camps hosted by Baseball Sask for team selection. Dates for evaluation camps will be announced at a later date on the Baseball Sask website –

All players interested in attending one of the evaluation camps should fill out the player information form below. Players that submit a player information form will also be contacted directly by email with announcements regarding dates for evaluation camps. Please submit the player information form to Head Coach of the team, Nolan Bracken, at the Baseball Sask office by email at

There will be player fees associated with being selected for the team. Pee Wee AAA tryouts

Baseball season is quickly approaching and it is time to go through the evaluation process to select the Swift Current AAA Pee Wee Indians. The evaluations will take place over two sessions at Ford Field. Players should bring their gloves, batting helmets, cleats, a water bottle, and be dressed in baseball pants.

As a member of the AAA Indians, you are committing to a very busy schedule. We will practice a few times before league play begins and will be playing most weekends from the beginning of May until the end of July. Our goal will be to win a provincial championship and represent Saskatchewan at the Western Canadian Baseball Championships in the middle of August. Players chosen to represent the AAA Indians will be responsible to have white baseball pants, red undershirts, and red socks. Team clothing will be ordered once the roster is set. Practice nights will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at Ford Field.

The evaluation process will include evaluation of different baseball skills including fielding, hitting, and pitching. A major point of emphasis at the tryouts will be that all players be willing to buy into a “team first” mentality. As we will be attempting to see the boys demonstrate their abilities in a short time frame, there will be a minimal amount of coaching taking place.

The timeline for the AAA Indians evaluations and first couple of weeks is as follows:

Tuesday, April 5 – 8 Pm – Tryout Session #1 – Stockade

Wednesday, April 6 – 6:30 – 8:00 pm – Tryout Session #2 – Ford Field

Sunday, April 10 – 7:00 pm – Parent/Player meeting – SCCHS

Monday, April 11 – 6:30 – 8:00 pm – Practice #1 – Ford Field (Location tentative)

Thursday, April 14 – 6:30 – 8:00 pm – Practice #2 – Ford Field

Regular Tuesday/Thursday practices begin April 19 – 6:30 – 8:00pm – Ford Field

April 30/May 1 – Baseball Regina AAA League games will begin (Location TBA)

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. If weather forces plans to change with evaluations, emails will be sent to everyone with details. Go Tribe!
