With over 335 young ball players registered with SCMB, and the addition of our “AA” program to our already successful, yet busy, “AAA” program in the recent years, our washroom facilities can no longer keep up with the demand. We normally have many players on the numerous diamonds on 19th ave NE, and with only one washroom for ladies and one for men, there is always a lineup. As a SCMB board, it was decided to host a washroom expansion fundraiser this year, in conjunction with our annual Awards night to be held Sept. 4th at the Iplex Auditorium. We would like to add 3 more washrooms to both sides to make it a total of 4 washrooms for ladies and men. We don’t normally have a fundraiser alongside our annual awards night, but do realize that we need to expand the washrooms on 19th ave.NE. We are budgeting approximately $25000.00 for this project. Of course with any fundraiser we want to keep our costs down to a minimum. With the help from some key community minded sponsors we hoping to raise the funds needed to start this project.
SCMB is proud to announce that our guest speaker for this years Awards night/ Washroom expansion fundraiser will be Ernie Witt, former Toronto Blue Jay, and Current manager of the Canadian National Baseball team. Please open link below for more info on Ernie Whitt.

We require all SCMB coaches to be City of Swift Current “Safe Place” youth certified as of April 1st-2017. If you are planning on coaching any level of ball for our association, from T-Ball to Midget, please print off the form and take it to the city detachment of the RCMP. If filled out correctly there will be no charge to you. Our intent is not to scare off any potential coaches, but to protect the most vulnerable person, the player. If you have the Safe Place certificate, we will need a copy to check the database. Your division head will be in touch with you to insure that it gets done. Any questions or concerns please get in touch with the division heads that you would be coaching for.
