The SCMB Pee Wee “AA” Indians come home from the Western Canada Baseball Championship with a silver metal. They went through the round robin with a 3-1 record, beating team Manitoba 9-8, then lost to team BC on Friday, on Saturday they beat team Alberta 18-9, and then beat host team St. Albert 7-5. On Sunday they had a rematch against team BC for the finals. The game was very well played with both teams have base runners in scoring positions many times during the game. Swift scored early in the game and than could not get anymore runs across the plate. Team BC scored 1 in the 5th and 1 in the six to go ahead 2-1, and Swift Current could not get anyone on base in the 7th to lose a close game to team BC 2-1. Great job Pee Wee Indians on a great season and a great run at Westerns. #GOTRIBE!
