Coaches Code of Conduct Form

SCMB Coaches Code of Conduct 2020

We require all SCMB coaches to be City of Swift Current “Safe Place” youth certified as of April 1st-2022. If you are planning on coaching any level of ball for our association, from T-Ball to 18U, please print off the form and take it to the city detachment of the RCMP. If filled out correctly there will be no charge to you. Our intent is not to scare off any potential coaches, but to protect the most vulnerable person, the player. If you have the Safe Place certificate, we will need a copy to check the database. Your division head will be in touch with you to insure that it gets done. Any questions or concerns please get in touch with the division heads that you would be coaching for.

To coach a team for SCMB you need to complete the Initiation Coaches Clinic. There are two components to this; an online component and an in-class component. You must complete the online component before you can register for the class component. Start at http://nccp.baseball.ca/ to complete the online class. Once logged in, you can see all other clinics in Canada. The date for our Initiation Clinic is is to be determined at this time. Make sure you are registered and have completed the online component before that date.
