Opening Day!!!!

SCMB season starts today with evaluations for T-Ball and Rally-cap divisions, as well tomorrow will be the evaluations for the Mosquito house. With over 340 registered players, SCMB is proud to say that we will field:

  • 8 t-ball teams
  • 8 Rally Cap teams
  • 6 Mosquito teams
  • 1 mosquito “AA” team
  • 1 peewee “AA” team
  • 1 peewee “A” team
  • 1 peewee house team
  • 1 bantam “AA” team
  • 1 midget “AAA” team
  • a combined bantam/midget house team

Our Provincial teams start playing games this weekend with a full slate of games scheduled for this weekend on the diamonds on 19th. Thank you to all our parents, volunteers, coaches, assistant coaches, board members, and mostly our players!!!! We look forward to a great summer of baseball.

PeeWee “A” Tryouts

Tom Christianson will be holding PeeWee “A” tryouts after “AA” tryouts.

Time line of tryout dates and schedule until the last part of April:
Thursday April 16th- 5:30 to 7:00 Ford Field -Tryout session 1
Wednesday April 22nd – 5:30 to 7:00 Ford Field- Tryout session 2
Monday April 27th- Practice at Ford Field from 6:30 to 8:00
Wednesday April 29th – Practice at Ford Field from 6:30 to 8:00
Thursday April 30th – Parent/player meeting- time and place TBA

PeeWee “AA” Tryouts:
Derek Murdoch will be holding the Peewee “AA” tryouts:
Monday, April 13 – 4:30 – 6:00 pm – Tryout Session #1 – Ford Field
Wednesday, April 15 – 6:30 – 8:00 pm – Tryout Session #2 – Ford Field
Derek will make other arrangements for bad weather. Please fill in the form provided and bring to the tryout on Monday April 13th.

For 2015 the Pee Wee AA team will play in the Regina AAA league. The players that do not play on the AA team will play in the Elks league. The Elks league is a combination of South West towns. The team will play, practice any time of the week. The Pee Wee AA team will play/ practice at ford field, while the Elks league team will play at Riverdene, and or Ford Field

The season starts at the end of April and goes through till the end of June for the Elks league team. The Pee Wee AA team will run until Mid August.
