Registrations for the 2024 Baseball Season are open until April 8, 2024 - please use the following link to access our registration page to get started: http://swiftcurrentball.rampregistrations.com/
Once the weather is warm enough, the respective Division Coordinator will contact you with details regarding tryouts (11U-18U only, see more information below) where the players will go through a short series of drills to evaluate their level of play. This evaluation will assist the Division Head and the coaches in selecting House League teams that are fair and equal in skill levels. Once the teams are determined, the coaches will contact you to let you know which team your child is on.
The season will start in late April/early May (depending on weather) and continue until the end of June. Players that are interested and selected to play on the Provincial Teams will continue play until later in July.

KidSport is a children’s charity that will assist children of families facing financial obstacles to participate in community sports programs. KidSport believes the primary goal of sport is for ALL kids to play and have fun. KidSport could potentially fund a child’s baseball registration and equipment to ensure that kids can enjoy the great game of baseball. Tryout deadlines have passed for the 2024 Season. If your child is interested in trying out, please contact your division coordinator.
Coaches for the 11U-18U AA and AAA teams will be holding tryouts this season. More information regarding these tryouts will be posted on our website and communicated by the coaches once available.
Swift Current Minor Baseball will be collecting a $30 non-refundable fee at the first tryout by cash or cheque at the door to cover the rental space cost - this amount is not included in the standard registration fees. This covers the cost for all tryouts for your division per registrant; this means that the $30 payment is required for the first tryout session that you attend and waived for subsequent sessions. A member of Swift Current Minor Baseball will be on site to confirm payment has been received or to take payment.
Batting Helmets - For personal hygiene benefits, all players will be responsible for providing their own batting helmet - Swift Current Minor Baseball does not provide helmets for players. Helmets can be purchased at a number of businesses within Swift Current. It is essential to have your helmet ready for your first practice.
Swift Current Minor Baseball will not accept requests for moving players up divisions in T-Ball, Rally-Cap, and U11. We will consider moving players in other divisions to allow players the chance to play ball when there are not enough registered players to make a team.
