Swift Current Minor Baseball follows provincially-determined guidelines for the payment of umpires. A number of local opportunities will be available to be active in umpiring tournaments/games where our local umpires will be given priority to work ... good chance to gain some experience and make some good money.
Baseball Sask has introduced an online training component to provide more accessible learning opportunities for umpires. This addition aims to offer flexibility and convenience for participants.

We are hosting a clinic for people interested in becoming a Level 1 or Level 2/3 certified umpire. The clinics will provide on-the-field instruction with a hands-on approach to becoming an umpire. Swift Current Minor Baseball will help to offset the registration expenses for this clinic.
